James: This is Must-Know Turkish Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 13. In this lesson, you'll learn strange idioms about different actions.
James: These are generally used in very casual conversations and are a little bit rude. Be careful when and where you use them.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
James: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Selin: nalları dikmek
Selin: dansöz gibi kıvırmak
Selin: kafadan atmak
Selin: çıngar çıkarmak
James: Selin, what's our first expression?
Selin: nalları dikmek
James: literally meaning "to sew the horseshoes." It is equivalent to the English idiom "kick the bucket." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to die."

James: literally meaning "throw from the head." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to make something up."
