In this lesson, you’ll learn conversational phrases to comment on a joke. After watching this video, you’ll be able to compliment or criticize anyone on their sense of humor.
Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases!

First of all, let’s listen to the joke again “Why is the math book sad? Because it has so many problems.”
That's: Matematik kitabı neden üzgün görünüyor? Çünkü çok fazla problemi var.

“Why is the math book sad? Because it has so many problems.”
Now, how do you react to a joke? First, you’ll need to learn how to say “haha” . That’s haha, haha
Then, you’ll need to learn how to say “You're so [adjective].” The pattern is:
Sen çok [adjective]sın/sin.
“You're so [adjective].”
This Turkish sentence literally translates as “You very [adjective] are.” But it means “You're so [adjective].”.
For example:
“Haha, you're so funny!”
