INTRODUCTION
Gina: In each lesson of this 25 part series, you'll master a common question for Turkish learners, and then learn how to answer it like a native. You'll learn how these key phrases work by breaking them down into each component. Then through repetition and new vocabulary, you'll expand your understanding of the question, its answers, and any variations.

Gina: In this lesson, you'll learn how to respond to the common question What's wrong? In Turkish this is
Ece: Sorun ne?
Gina: The first word in the question is
Ece: Sorun
Gina: meaning wrong, problem in English.
Ece: (Slow, by syllable) Sorun
Gina: Listen again and repeat.
Ece: Sorun

Gina: This pattern of first introducing a word at natural speed, providing the translation, breaking it down, and then giving it again at natural speed will be repeated throughout the series. Try to speak aloud as often as possible. The next word in the question is
Ece: ne
Gina: meaning what is.
Ece: (Slow, by syllable) ne
Gina: Now repeat.
Ece: ne

Gina: Listen to the entire question and repeat.

Gina: To make another phrase, replace tired with sick.

Ece: (slow) hastayım (regular) hastayım
Gina: Listen to the phrase again, this time with sick
Ece: Hastayım
Gina: Simply replace tired. Say I'm sick.

Ece: Hastayım
Gina: To expand on the pattern, replace sick with bored.
Ece: Canım sıkılıyor
Gina: bored
Ece: (slow) Canım sıkılıyor (regular) Canım sıkılıyor
Gina: Listen to the phrase again, this time with bored
Ece: Canım sıkılıyor
Gina: Simply replace sick. Say I'm bored.

Gina: To expand on the pattern, replace bored with unhappy.
Ece: Mutsuzum
Gina: unhappy
Ece: (slow) Mutsuzum (regular) Mutsuzum
Gina: Listen to the phrase again, this time with unhappy

Gina: Simply replace the word for bored. Say I'm unhappy.
