SLANG EXPRESSIONS
James: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Selin: lamı cimi yok
Selin: çok da fifi
Selin: dandik
Selin: çakozlamak
James: Selin, what's our first expression?
Selin: lamı cimi yok
James: literally meaning "there is no L or C." In the past, Turkish people used the Arabic alphabet instead of Latin. Lam and Cim are the letters L and C. This idiom is like a breadcrumb from the old days. When it's used as a slang expression, it means "there is no way out."
