Cultural Insight
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Icten: In Turkey, asking “how are you” right after greeting someone is pretty common. Turkish people like to talk about what is going on with them at the moment, especially older ladies, so it can be a great conversation starter. Turkish people are pretty open and even talk freely about their negative experiences or about why they don't feel quite well at the moment.

Outro

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
Icten: Hoşçakalın.
